Jack has hand, foot & mouth disease. Or mad hoof disease as we affectionately call it. We think it sounds like something only stable animals get. Well, apparently babies & toddlers get it like crazy too. There's nothing you can do except quarantine your child & wait it out while the little bumps spread & spread. So, that's what we're doing. Mama needs to see some friends soon or I'm going to go crazy!
I do have some small comfort in knowing that it's not the chicken pox. I remember having that as a child & I think a toddler with the pox would be horrible!

Dear Blogger Librarian:
A so-called "baby blog" you host, Peekaboo Jack has recently featured disease, poop, body-piercing, and cross-dressing. I was shocked, shocked and horrified by this offensive content. It is certainly not appropriate reading material for my babies, or anyone else's. Please remove it from the available materials, or at least shelve it with the 'adult' blogs.
Thank you,
Concerned Citizen.

Where are all the dirty pictures?
Likey my new avatar?
john- you have too much time on your hands.
and to you, Mr. Blogger Mayor Matt Kirkland- you obviously don't have a baby, otherwise you would realize how appropriate disease, poop, body-piercing & cross-dressing are on a baby blog. you will learn one day!
Likey my new avatar?
You need to "accidently" infect one of your friends kids, and then you all can hang out together! ;-)
Done and Done. I have the hoof disease now.
as do two of our friend's kids & the mothers. i seemed to have escaped. perfect.
by the way. SOMEONE hacked into my account, posted a comment in my name AND gave me an avatar of a photo i'm not so fond of. I'll let you all guess who that was...
Who?
(Great photo though, mystery hacker)
